ACADEMIC CARRIER EDUCATION SERVICES LLC (ACES) is a national commercial motor carrier education and consulting company, founded by Samuel Mayfield in 2013. providing expert instruction and guidance to motor carrier owners, managers, drivers and employees who are subject to the DOT Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.  ACES is dedicated to improving company safety ratings and driver safety performance.  We partner with the motor carrier and design a plan specific to the company's needs and abilities, utilizing a variety of tools and programs in order to produce maximum effectiveness.

 

ACES has created classroom Courses to educate motor carrier owner/operators, safety directors, managers, human resources personnel, mechanics, and drivers in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.  ACES provides the transportation community with consulting services services, pre-audit preparation and post-audit compliance assistance, CSA guidance and SMS understanding, Safety Rating improvement and DataQ Challenge assistance, safety talks, and tailor-made instruction/presentations for your company.  

 

Mr. Mayfield, a retired Arizona State Trooper and former instructor for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, is an expert in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. He has been able to save his clients over $350,000 in fine avoidances, fine reductions, and insurance rate reductions.  He has been able to effectively reduce Safety Rating scores to below Alert Threshold Levels (prioritize small) within 9 months.
